Today’s my mom’s 60th birthday. I’m really happy to be here to celebrate it with her. But I am so ready to leave. I’m ready to get back to my life.

This happens every year. Ending it on vacation. Thinking. Wondering. Deciding. Getting excited to take action. But not being able to do anything. Because I’m stuck. In Tampa. Trapped. In the land of “3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths”. Waiting for the next 24 hours to pass, until I can get out. Until I can get back to my life. And start living it the way I want to.
